Frequently asked questions

Shipping

Will I have to pay customs duties?

We ship from Spain. Our porcelain is produced in the EU, so there are no customs duties for customers in the EU or in other European countries. With every order, we attach a declaration of origin to the invoice, which exempts you from paying customs duties.

For EU customers: the price already includes tax. You pay nothing upon receipt of the package.

For customers in other European countries: there are no customs duties, but upon receipt of the package, you pay your local tax and the carrier's fee for customs clearance. These are your country's rules, which we cannot influence.

For customers outside Europe: local import regulations apply. What is charged upon receipt of the package depends on your country.

We ask that you check your local regulations before placing an order. If you refuse to accept the package due to these costs, the return costs will be deducted from your refund.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

We offer premium packaging: a handmade box lined with linen-textured paper. We offer it to you on the cart page. We have several sizes, all at the same price; we choose the one that best fits the items in your order.

We also have our own greeting cards, which we can handwrite for you if you wish. Please leave the text in the order notes.

What comes with the order as a certificate?

Each order comes with a small book: a story about us and what we value in handmade work, along with a certificate guaranteeing the handmade craftsmanship and the quality of the materials used. Bojana signs it personally.

How do you pack porcelain for transport?

Every order is packed with care. We use biodegradable honeycomb paper that protects the porcelain during transit.

The largest order we have sent so far was 32 plates to the United States. None of them broke.

Nevertheless, breakages do happen from time to time. In that case, you can choose between a full refund and new items being sent. All additional costs will be covered by us.

FAQ Group 2

Do you do custom designs?

Yes, of course. These are orders that we enjoy. However, we cannot fulfill just any idea, so let's talk first.

Most importantly: custom design is a close collaboration between you and us. Bojana listens to you carefully, then asks you questions. After several conversations, we arrive at the design together. Then we make samples, which both parties must approve. After approval, the first payment is made.

We do not work from designs made by others. It would be dishonest to ourselves and, ultimately, to you.

The production time varies depending on the size of the order and the waiting list. A 30% custom design fee is added to the price of the piece.

Are they dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe?

Whether the porcelain is handmade or industrial, the rules are the same.

All pieces are dishwasher and oven safe. Gold applications wear out over the years: that is the nature of gold. To make the gold last longer, wash pieces with gold by hand with a soft sponge, or in the dishwasher at a low temperature (40 °C).

Pieces with gold (or any other metal) should never be microwaved: metal sparks.

Always heat and cool gradually, to avoid thermal shock. Do not take a piece out of the refrigerator and put it directly into a hot oven.

Unglazed surfaces are somewhat more sensitive than glazed ones. Dark food that, for example, sits overnight on such a surface will leave a mark. This is not a big problem: a soft brush, hot water, and baking soda will solve it.

Do you accept wholesale orders?

We evaluate wholesale orders on a case-by-case basis. The price depends on the size and type of the order, and the collaboration we envision for it.
